Lake Chabot Trail Run

Event Overview

The Lake Chabot Trail Run takes place on Saturday, November 16, 2024, starting at the Marina in Lake Chabot Regional Park, Castro Valley, CA. Runners will traverse around the popular Lake Chabot reservoir and surrounding hills.

Event Schedule

Check-in begins at 7:30 A.M. at the Marina. Be sure to arrive at least 45 minutes prior to your event to receive your bib and shirt.

Course Details

Each course will be marked with ribbon, with specific color coding for each distance:

• 8K – Yellow Loop
• Half Marathon – Pink Loop
• 30K – Pink Loop + Yellow Loop
• Marathon – Pink Loop twice
• 50K - Marathon + 8K

The trails are marked approximately every 200 yards, and polka-dot flagging will indicate upcoming turns.

• 8K - 4.8 Miles: $50.00 - $60.00 - $70.00
• Half Marathon - 13.1 Miles: $60.00 - $70.00 - $80.00
• 30K - 30K: $65.00 - $75.00 - $85.00
• Marathon - 26.2 Miles: $70.00 - $80.00 - $90.00
• 50K - 50K: $80.00 - $90.00 - $100.00
• Kid's Run (6yo & younger, 50yd dash) - Free! - 0.028 Miles: $0.00
• 5K - 3.1 Miles: $25.00
• Coastal Testing - 2 Miles: $0.00

Aid Stations

Aid stations will be fully stocked every 4-5 miles, providing fresh fruits, drinks, and snacks.
