Lighthouse Loop

The Lighthouse Loop is an open water swim in Lake Michigan, by the mouth of the Menominee River. You will be swimming 2.3 miles starting at Red Arrow Park, past the lighthouse, then looping back to our start location.
Swimmers are required to wear a wetsuit (doctor's written permission is required to swim without a wetsuit, which must be received 7 days in advance by race officials) and a swim buoy for the event. Participants must be 14 or older, and a parent/guardian will need to sign an additional waiver for swimmers under 18.

The swim will begin at 8:00 AM with the first heat, followed by subsequent heats every 15 minutes. All times are subject to change based on weather conditions.

Little Lighthouse

The Little Lighthouse is a kids' open water swim experience for kids aged 13 and under. The kids' swim will take place after the 2.3 mile Lighthouse Loop, approximately at 11:30 AM. Kids will swim about a 100-yard distance parallel to the shore.

Note: Kids participating in this swim must be able to swim without any flotation assistance.

Registration for the Little Lighthouse event will be on site on the day of the event for a minimal fee.
