Mac Forest Trail Run

Event Overview

Come join us for the 28th running of the Mac Forest Trail Runs. Beautiful trails and logging roads will take you through the majestic McDonald Forest. Whether an experienced trail runner or a first timer, we believe you will enjoy every minute of the race.

Proceeds from the races will benefit local high school cross-country athletes and teams, and further the mission of the Oregon Running Foundation (“ORF”) to help move the lives of youth forward through the power of running.

Course Information

The course features a combination of single-track trails and logging roads with 1450 ft. of elevation gain (for the 15k). Scenic views of the Cascades, Coast Range and Soap Creek Valley can be seen on a sunny day. Aid Stations will be available at the Forestry Cabin and the Cap House.

Registration Details

Registration opens on November 1st, 2024. Day of registration begins at 7:30 am. Please note that registration will be limited to cash or check on race day and we do have limits on the number of participants.

Start Times

• 15K starts at 9:00 AM
• 5K starts at 9:30 AM

Entry Fees

Adults (19 and over): $40 for the 15K, $30 for the 5K
Youth (18 and under): $10 for the 5K, $15 for the 15K
