The run features a net downhill course with about 2,500ft of climbing, winding around Mauna Kea. The 50-miler starts at the Pu'u Huluhulu parking lot.

This is a mostly self-supported run. Support/supplies may be limited, so you're encouraged to have your own crew support or stash supplies ahead of time.

Additional Information

Be prepared for various weather conditions typical of Hawaii Mountain Weather. A headlamp is advisable for early morning starts.
