This race is hosted by the Friends of Fort Macon to benefit Fort Macon State Park. Run as many trail laps as you can from 7PM to 7AM during a LUNAR ECLIPSE!

Mosquito Endurance Run

The course features a mix of cross-country trail surfaces and sand, with runners required to have their own light source. Runners may run continuously or take breaks, with total mileage calculated by completed laps before the finish line closes at 7 AM.

Relay

Teams of up to 3 runners can participate in the relay, running a three-mile course. There are no rules for rotation within the team, with only one team member allowed on the trail at a time.

Mosquito Run 5K

The 5K race will be one lap of the Elliot Coues Trail (3.2 miles). Runners are required to have their own light source, with a fully stocked aid station available on the course.
