Mt. Wilson Make it a Double

Join us for the Mt. Wilson 'Make it a Double' winter 2024 challenge. This is a training event and an opportunity to stay strong with some awesome friends and be ready for those ultra races you signed up for.

Event Details

Registration closes on Thu, Dec 19 @ 11:59 PM PT. The event features 10K, 25K, and 50K distances, with each summit offering a 5,000 ft elevation climb. This is the first time we will have a 10K option, and space is limited.

What to Expect

This event is not about being the first to complete the challenge. It was created to challenge ourselves on a high level while allowing us to spend time together without the pressure of competition. You are all winners! Come for one summit, challenge yourself to two, or go for three. There will be a hard turn-around time at 3 PM at Orchard Camp.

What to Bring

Participants should bring their own water and nutrition, as this is a self-supported challenge. Please respect the neighborhood and be quiet during the event.

Weather and Hazards

Be prepared for varying weather conditions, and be aware of wildlife and other hazards on the trail.
