What to Expect

Are you brave enough to take the plunge? Celebrate new beginnings with us! The Polar Plunge is the only day of the year we allow the public to swim in Lula Lake, a tradition believed to bring good luck.

The fun run through our Preserve leads to the plunge site where you'll jump into the refreshing waters. Be prepared with very warm clothing for after the jump, as you will be wet and cold!

Important Information

• Check-in starts at 10:00 AM
• The fun run is a non-timed event, you can choose to run or jump!
• Spiked hot cider, hot cocoa, and beer will be available post-plunge.

What to Bring

You must bring everything you need to stay warm: blankets, towels, hats, gloves, etc. LLLT will transport your belongings to the site, so pack them into a bag.

Safety Measures

Life jackets are required for children under 13. Expect a shock to your body when you hit the water!

Spectators

Spectators are welcome, but they must travel with a ticket holder and be prepared to walk to the lake.
