Course Description

The course is a roughly 7km long route that presents a range of terrain from flat sandy trails to rocky sections requiring precise foot placement. Expect some short climbs and a mix of trail conditions:

• Starts on a low, flat drainage plain above the Rio Puerco riverbed
• Includes slick rock portions with steps and cut trails
• Climbs lead into off-camber sandstone slick rock, navigating through cairns
• Final ascent to Pyramid Rock includes steep climbs and challenging descents

Be cautious during the final .25mi of climbing and descent as the switchbacks can be busy with racers in both directions.

Registration Fees

The registration fee is $30.78, which will increase to $42.10 after Nov 22. All prices include taxes and fees.
