Riverside 'Roughly' Five 2024

Run Pure + Simple is our no-bells series of races. These events offer great atmospheres with nothing extra, and are FREE to Run Waterloo members. If you've never run the trails at Riverside Park, you're in for a treat. We host several running events at Riverside Park but this is very different than the others. This course is a rough & tough off-road experience. No swag, no food, no awards, just a certified and chiptimed 5k to get your spring into gear. We can guarantee it will be roughly five kilometres! (This event is a parody of all the events that pretend to be 5k, but really aren't.) This is the only non-certified distance on the Run Waterloo calendar.

Registration fees

A simple, chip-timed 5k race with all the vibes but no t-shirts or finisher medals. Food and awards, if offered, are minimal. This event is FREE to Run Waterloo members and the course is 'rough'ly 5k, but not certified :-)

Course Details

A hilly, sometimes technical, roughly 5 KM distance on the trails in Riverside Park.

Results

Results will be available race day, and after the race at results.runwaterloo.com. Run Fast. Run Often. Get Points. RW Boost is a new social competition and loyalty program that is free to Run Waterloo members. Note that for booster points, 5k PBs don't count at this race. This race is designed to be a parody of all the un-measured 5ks out there, and as such, isn't really 5k. Ditto points are eligible.
