Run for Gold 5K and 1-Mile Fun Run

Run for Gold 5K and 1-Mile Fun Run is proudly brought to you by the Oconee Parks Foundation! This event will help raise funds for the Oconee County Parks and Recreation Department, specifically for replacing playgrounds at the Bogart Sports Complex.

Course Information

• 1-Mile Fun Run/Walk - Distance: 1 Mile, Price: $15.00 - $20.00
• Run for Gold 5K - Distance: 3.1 Miles, Price: $25.00 - $30.00

Schedule

• 2:00 PM - Race Day Registration and Packet Pickup
• 3:00 PM - 1-Mile Fun Run Start
• 3:30 PM - Run for Gold 5K Start
• 4:30 PM - Awards Ceremony

Course Map

The race takes place entirely within Oconee Veterans Park on the Fitness trail. The Start and Finish are located at the Soccer Field side of the complex by the Concession Stand.

Awards

Awards will be given for Overall Male/Female, Masters Male/Female, GrandMasters Male/Female, and within the following age groups: 10 and Under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70 and Over.

Weather Policy

In case of rain, the race may be delayed by 15-minute increments. No refunds are provided due to inclement weather.
