Run Like the Dickens

Join us for another year of family fun at "Run Like the Dickens!" This one-mile fun run will be held at Main Beach, Amelia Island on Saturday, December 14, 2024, starting at 8:30 AM.

Come early for the pre-race warm up, courtesy of the YMCA. It'll get you fired up for the fun! The course will be a simple out, round the tree, and back beach run, with the direction changing based on conditions. Please note that this is not a chipped race.

The awards ceremony will take place at the Sandbar Amelia Island directly following the race. The Sandbar is opening early to offer complementary coffee & hot chocolate and $6 breakfast sandwiches from 8:30 AM - 9:00 AM. Brunch will also be available at 9:00 AM for race participants. And stick around for Santa, who will arrive at 10:00 AM for photo ops!

Register through Friday, December 6th until 5:00 PM to receive an official Run Like the Dickens t-shirt. If you register after 12/6 or on-site, we will do our best to have a t-shirt mailed to you.

All are welcome - including kids and dogs. Laughs are guaranteed!
