Running For Africa 2024

Event Details

The event will take place at Jack Allen Soccer Complex on December 7th, 2024, located at 2616 Modaus Road SW, Decatur, Alabama 35603.

The gates will open at 6:30AM for late registrations. All proceeds will go to our organization, Archangel Group International, a 501C (3) non-profit dedicated to restoring families and empowering communities in Africa.

Registration Information

Early registration ends on November 22nd, 2024, at 12:00AM. Participants who register early will receive a free shirt, swag bag, and participation medal.

Course Options and Pricing

• 7K Run: $30.00 (increases to $35 after November 22nd)
• 5K Run: $30.00 (increases to $35 after November 22nd)
• 1-Mile Fun Run/Walk: $25.00 (flat rate until race day)
• Participate in both the 5K and 7K: $40.00 (increases to $45 after November 22nd)

Packet Pickup

Packet pickup will occur on December 6th, 2024, from 5-7PM at Cross Eyed Owl Brewery, 105 1st Ave NE, Decatur, AL 35601, and also on race day from 6:00AM-7:30AM at Jack Allen Soccer Complex.

Race Day Timings

• 5K starts at 7:30AM
• 7K starts at 8:15AM
• 1-Mile Fun Run/Walk starts at 9:00AM
