Servus Calgary Marathon 2025

Canada's Longest Running Marathon turns 61! For over six decades, the Servus Calgary Marathon has been at the forefront of running in this country, attracting runners from all over the world to discover our city while staying true to our western roots and loyal to our homegrown runners.

Participants will be able to choose between an in-person event on May 25, 2025 or the virtual race experience that runs from May 25 to June 22. Choose your distance and run, walk or wheel the 5 km, 10 km, 21.1 km, 42.2 km or the 1.2 km Kids Marathon! All participants can fundraise for any of our 100+ charities through the Charity Challenge. There is also the option to join or create a team in one of 3 categories: Fundraising Team, Corporate Team and Youth Team.

Green Bib Option

New this year, we are introducing a Green Bib! This gives participants the option to participate in our race and forgo receiving a race shirt and finisher medal. If a participant chooses the Green Bib option, a $10 donation will be made to a Canadian sustainability charity in lieu of a race shirt and medal.

GST & Processing Fees Please note that each participant will be charged a processing fee, plus 5% GST tax in addition to the race entry fee.

Refund Policy

Entry fees are NON-REFUNDABLE. NO EXCEPTIONS. All registration fees are non-refundable. Selling your race bib, or having another person use your bib in the event is strictly prohibited. This act may seem well intentioned but has many negative implications to the organizers and participants including liability, timing, results, awards and many other factors. If a registrant sells or gives away their race bib to another participant, they will not be allowed to participate in future events. Protect your purchase by enrolling in the Race Roster Enhanced Refund Protection Program. Participants that enroll in the refund program will be refunded if they are unable to attend due to a variety of unforeseen circumstances, such as injury & illness, COVID-19, severe weather, work travel conflict, layoffs/termination or mechanical breakdown.

In the case of in-person race cancellation, all 2025 in-person participants registered in the Servus Calgary Marathon Race Weekend will automatically be transferred to the virtual event.
