Summit Metro Parks Mother's Day 5K

Overview

Run, jog, or walk to celebrate Mom during the annual 5K from the Summit Metro Parks. The stroller-friendly course for this chip-timed race travels twice around the scenic Munroe Falls Lake. Race proceeds benefit the Summit Metro Parks Foundation.

Registration Fees

• Ages 14 and under: $10
• Ages 15 and older:
• $20 until January 14
• $25 from January 15 - March 14
• $30 from March 15 - April 14
• $35 from April 15 - race day

Participants can register online on race day but no cash will be accepted.

Packet Pickup

Pre-race packet pickup will be available at F.A. Seiberling Nature Realm (1828 Smith Rd., Akron) on May 10 from 10 AM - 3 PM. Race day pickup starts at 7 AM at Munroe Falls Metro Park.

Awards

The top male and female finishers in each age group will have their names engraved in the Munroe Falls Mother’s Day 5K brick walkway.

Additional Information

The event will be held rain or shine. Refunds are available until May 1, 2025. The course is not fully ADA-compliant, but wheelchair participants and jogging strollers are welcome. Wagons, bikes, scooters, rollerblades, and motorized vehicles are not permitted on the course.

A choice of a free race t-shirt or native tree sapling is included with each paid registration (while supplies last).
