Event Details

Join Babcock Ranch for the 4th Annual Thanks 4 Giving 5K Run/Walk on November 30, 2024. This event supports Babcock Neighborhood School, with all proceeds above costs going to the school.

All runners and walkers will receive a custom-designed Thanks 4 Giving 5K dri-fit short-sleeved shirt, available in youth and adult sizes. The shirt cutoff date is November 15, 2024 at 11:59 PM. Late registrants may not receive a shirt.

Key Information

• Early Packet Pickup: November 27, 2024, from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. at Babcock Ranch Lifestyle Office.
• Race Day
  • Packet Pickup: 6:45 a.m. - 7:45 a.m. at Babcock Ranch Founder's Square.
  • Registration: 6:45 a.m. - 7:45 a.m., cost is $35.00.
  • Race Start Time: 8:00 a.m.
  • Awards: Post-race snacks and awards will be provided.
• Parking: Free ample parking is available near the starting area.
• Timing: The race is chip-timed by Beach Bum Timing.
• Bathrooms: Available at the start and finish areas.
• Water Stop: Located at the halfway mark of the course.

Awards

Age group awards are based on off-chip time. Awards will be given for:

• 1st Place Overall Male & Female
• 1st Place Masters, Grand Masters, Senior Grand Masters Male & Female
• In-person awards to the top three Male/Female in age groups: 9 and under, 10-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70+

Is this a timed race? Yes, the 5K is chip-timed.

What is the course surface like? A mixture of asphalt, hard-packed shell, and mulch.

Are dogs allowed on the course? Yes, but you assume full responsibility for your dog.

Are strollers allowed on the course? Yes.

Is the course good for spectators? Yes.
