The Big Halloween Run

The Big Halloween Run is the FIRST Annual event in partnership with Striderz Run Club, taking place at Vancouver's Olympic Village on Wednesday, October 30th. This themed run offers a 1km dash at 6pm and a 5km run/walk at 7pm along the seawall. Suitable for all ages and abilities, including strollers and leashed dogs.

Event Details

The route winds along the seawall up to David Lam Park before returning back, passing other cheerful runners. With minimal inclines and stable trails, everyone is assured a beautiful and stress-free run/walk. The route is pet and stroller friendly, with pets and strollers starting in the last wave for safety.

Registration

Registration includes a Halloween Name Bib, Finishers Souvenir, and Finish Clock for Finish time. Additional items for purchase include a Run Kit Mail Out before October 16th. Bundle offers and savings are available for group registrations and under 18's receive a discounted entry for the 5km run/walk.

Packet Pickup

Pick up your pack on Tuesday, October 29th at Kintec West Broadway or on Wednesday, October 30th at the Olympic Village. Instore discounts available when attending Packet Pickup.

Event Schedule

Check-In opens at 5:00 p.m., with the 1km Warm up at 5:45 p.m. The 1km run starts at 6:00 p.m. followed by awards and door prizes. The 5km Warm Up is at 6:45 p.m. with the 5km run starting at 7:00 p.m. The route closes at 8:45 p.m.
