The CANUM

Join us for The CANUM, a thrilling 40 mile ultra marathon set in the stunning Brecon Beacons. This event takes place on Saturday, April 5, 2025, starting at 7:00 am. The course follows the picturesque Mon & Brec Canal through the Usk Valley, offering breathtaking views and a chance to experience world heritage sites and incredible wildlife.

Event Details

The CANUM features a point-to-point course that is primarily on trails, with a total ascent of 1644 feet and a descent of 1473 feet. Participants can expect a mostly undulating terrain, making it a challenging yet rewarding experience.

Registration and Tickets

Early bird registration is available for £65, but hurry, as this offer is for a limited time only. All participants will receive a finisher's medal and access to fully stocked checkpoints along the route.

Logistics

Parking opens at 4:30 am, with coach transfers available from Brecon to the start line. There are no time limits for this event, and the staff will support you to the finish line, no matter how long it takes.

What to Bring

Participants are advised to bring running shoes, a water bottle, a mobile phone, a compass, a headlamp, and a waterproof jacket. Don't forget to check your dietary requirements during signup!
