The Derby 50k

The Derby 50k is a 31.5-mile fun run with no bells & whistles. The course is not closed to traffic and is run in a counter-clockwise direction facing traffic. It's a great event for those wanting to do their first ultra run. The course will start and finish in front of the Derby Community Building in a beautiful country setting on asphalt and dirt. The event is organized by the Richmond County Animal Advocates and aims to support the local community needs, church, fire department, etc. The event also encourages participants to bring dog and/or cat food donations. The first male and female finishers will receive special awards, and all finishers will receive custom medals.
