The JC Valentine Half Marathon, 10k, 5k

The JC Valentine's Half Marathon, 10K, 5K takes place in Lincoln Park, a place that is not only historic, it’s beautiful! We are proud and excited to hold the inaugural Valentine's running event to support an incredible non-profit organization, Sustainable Jersey City. We’ve created an unforgettable, certified, and improved course that includes paved, unrestricted roads, bridges, paths, a lake, and historic monuments.

This is going to be a great event that we’re sure will be around for years to come. Join us to support this amazing organization that works to educate, empower, and advocate for a more sustainable Jersey City. Run 13.1 Miles, 10K, or 5K on a course with clear markers, tons of support, and a finish line like no other. We can’t wait to make this happen!

Course Information

Location: 1 Lincoln Park, Jersey City, NJ 07304 (Water Fountain). Course: (Half) 4 loops of a 3.27 mile course. (10K) 2 loops of a 1.55 mile course (5K) 1 loop of a 1.55 mile course. Water Stations: There will be water stations about every 1.5 - 2 miles along the course. Besides water, there will be Gatorade and gels.

Timing and Awards

Live timing including a split per loop! Pictures and video will be uploaded the day of the event. Technical T-shirt & Bib: Male & Female cuts; A4 Technical Running Shirts for each participant. Personalized bib (must register 4 weeks prior) commemorative bib thereafter. Finishers Medal & Awards: Die Cast Medal with full-color ribbon. Awards/Plaques for Top 3 overall Male and Female (All distances). Half Distance - Awards/Plaques for Top 3 Age Groups Male and Female 14-19, 20-24 until 75-79. 10K & 5K - Awards/Plaques for Top 3 Age Groups Male and Female 19 & Under, 20-29, 30-39 until 70 & Over.

Post Race Celebration

Food & Beverages: Post Race bagels, cream cheese spreads, organic jelly, and peanut butter. Event details and schedule: Please always check our website for updates. Race Day Packet Pick-up: 8:00 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. Bring picture I.D. You will receive a bib with a timing chip attached to it. Baggage Check-in: 8:00 a.m. to 8:45 a.m. Your bib will have a tear-off tag that you will pin to your personal bag. You need to show the matching bib to retrieve your bag from the secure area. Race Start: 9:30 a.m. Preliminary Results: posted at around 10:30 a.m. Awards Ceremony: 10:30 – 11:30 a.m. Post Race Celebration! Bagels, fruits, and drinks!

Remember, there are no transfers, no credits, no refunds. Race Directors reserve the right to change the date, modify or cancel the race. Only in this case may you transfer your entry to another event.
