Tidewater Striders 2025 Distance Series 3 - 10K, 12 Mile and 20 Mile Events

10K, 12 Mile & 20 Mile

At Dismal Swamp Canal Trail, Rest stop at Mile Post 4, Chesapeake.

Race Courses: Begin and finish at the entrance to the Dismal Swamp Canal Trail. The courses will be an out & back. The 10K will go out and back for 3.1 miles. The 12 and 20 milers will run/walk 6 miles and turn around. The 20 milers will finish and then go out for another 4 miles before turning back to the finish line. This is a chipped time race starting at 8:30 A.M. Finish line closure is based on a 15 minute per mile pace, closing at 1:30 PM.

After Race Parties: Join us at Tap It Local, 648 Grassfield Pkwy, #12, Chesapeake 23323, just 3 1/2 miles from the start/finish line.

Registration closes at 9:00 PM the Friday before the event. Early packet pickup will be at Running Etc., Hilltop Location on the Friday before each event starting at 4:00 to 6:00 PM.

Inclement Weather: The Race Director and the Tidewater Striders reserve the right to cancel or reschedule or adjust distances as needed in the interest of safety or access restrictions to the venue.
