Tommy Moe Kids Race League - 1 of 3

About the Event

The Tommy Moe Kids’ League is a perfect activity for kids ages 5-12 who want to try out low-key, beginner level alpine race competitions.

Competitors must be 5 years old before they can participate in the Tommy Moe races. All races are on Sundays and each must be registered for individually. The races aim to create a non-intimidating environment for entry-level skiers.

• #1: 01/28 - Giant Slalom - Single Course
• #2: 02/18 - Giant Slalom - Single Course
• #3: 02/25 - Dual Giant Slalom and Costume Race

Schedule

7:00am - Online Registration Closes

8:30am - 9:30am - Event Registration Check In at Ed & Mully's

9:30 - 9:45 Inspection for 5-8 year olds

9:45-10:00 Inspection for 9-12 year olds

10:15 - Run 1 Start (youngest to oldest)

11:45am - Run 2 for all competitors

1:30pm - Race Completed (estimate)

2:15pm - Awards at the Events Office

Registration & Fees

Single event – $25. Registration closes at 7:00am on the day of each race. Each participant MUST check-in between 8:30am - 9:30am to get a bib.

Locations

Check-In Location – Ed & Mully's in the Upper Village area.

Race Course – Lower Hellroaring Ski Run to Lower Ed’s Run (via Chair 2).

Awards - At the Events Office in the Upper Village area.

Divisions

Helmets are required for all racers. Racers will compete in their age divisions: 5/6, 7/8, 9/10, and 11/12 year olds.

Awards and Trophies

Weekly awards are provided with the top 3 racers in each division earning ribbons. Racers competing in all events earn an end-of-season trophy.

Transportation and Parking

The SNOW Bus operates between Whitefish and Whitefish Mountain Resort. Parking lots will be open throughout the event.

Refund Policy

Entry fees are 100% refundable when requested 48 hours before the event. After that, a 50% refund will be issued if the space is filled from the waitlist.
