Event Details

The 15th Annual Turkey Day 5K in Sanford, Florida is back! While the pandemic and storms of these past couple of years has drastically changed all of our lives, we are excited to return to our more traditional event as Seminole County's largest Thanksgiving Day fun run. This event is open to all participants - competitive runners, joggers, and walkers as a great annual tradition for all families and friends.

And don't forget - Free Starbucks Coffee, Hot Chocolate, and donuts from Sanford's own Donuts To Go.

In-Person Costume Contest

Come dressed in your favorite and most unique Thanksgiving Day costume. Be sure to arrive early so that our judges can select our finalists by 7:35am. At 7:40am, we will have the finalists gather by the starting corral where all of the participants in the race will vote by loudest applause for the overall winner, who will receive a $100 Visa gift card. This contest is open to all registered participants with a race bib.

• Youth Registration (ages 14 and Under):
  $25 through September 2

Timing and Scoring

This fun run will be chip timed. All registered runners will receive individual times. Times will also be posted on the results board onsite as well as live results online.

Finisher Medals

All participants will receive a finisher medal.

T-Shirts

All runners registered by Monday, November 12th will be guaranteed their requested shirt size.

Awards

Awards will be given for the overall male and female winner and for the top three male and female winners in various age groups.

Event Beneficiary

This event will benefit The Sharing Center, a comprehensive social services hub in Seminole County.
