Umatilla Rim Ripper

Event Overview

Are you looking to run your first trail race? Are you a seasoned trail runner looking for an event that gives back to the local community? The Rim Ripper is the event for you!

Race Distances

• Half Marathon: 13.1 miles
• 11K: 6.8 miles
• 7K: 4.5 miles

This event is hosted by Run Oregon, promoting an active lifestyle through organized running and walking events.

The Course

The Umatilla Rim Ripper course features flowy single track trails with stunning views, ensuring a memorable experience for runners of all levels.

Start Times

• Half Marathon: 8:00 AM
• 11K: 8:30 AM
• 7K: 9:00 AM

Aid Stations

Aid stations will be provided for all distances with water and electrolytes. Remember, this is a cup-less course!

Start/Finish Location

The Start/Finish line is located at Horseshoe Prairie, accessible from Oregon Highway 204.

Registration & Fees

Registrations close on Wednesday, September 17, 2025. Day of registrations welcome but fees increase.

Awards

All finishers will receive event swag, and top male and female finishers for each distance will earn a custom medal.

Local Beneficiary

The event benefits the Athena-Weston School District Cross Country and Track & Field programs.
