Up, Up, and Away 5k

Event Details

Don't miss the chance to experience the excitement and beauty of the Kent State University at Stark campus while hot air balloons float in the sky (weather permitting), on Saturday morning, July 26, for our UP, UP & AWAY 5K presented by OrthoUnited.

This event is tailored for both serious and casual runners and walkers. Following the main 5K run, at 8:50 am, there will be a free Kids Fun Run on the track near the finish line. This non-competitive fun run is open to children ages 8 & under, focusing on fun and fitness!

Schedule

• Friday, July 25: Packet Pickup from 3:30 PM to 7:30 PM
• Saturday, July 26:
• 6:30 AM – Packet Pickup/Registration
• 8:00 AM – Up, Up & Away 5K
• 8:50 AM – Free Kids Fun Run
• 9:00 AM – Awards Ceremony

Awards

5K participants can earn finisher medals and awards for top finishers in various categories. Be sure to register early to guarantee your race keepsake!

Shirt Sizes

Registration does not guarantee a shirt after July 9. A $5 discount is available for participants who opt-out of receiving a shirt.
