10 km Université Laval

The 10 km Université Laval is an annual race that will be in its 54th edition, attracting runners of all levels. Organized by the Rouge et Or Athletics Club, this sporting event aims to promote a healthy and active lifestyle within the community.

Event Details

Participants can choose from three distances: 1 km, 5 km, or 10 km, through a course that showcases the campus and its surroundings. This is an opportunity for runners to push their limits, take on a personal challenge, and share an enriching sporting experience in a competitive and performance-oriented atmosphere.

Course Options

Three courses are offered: 1 km, 5 km (water station at km 3), and 10 km (water stations at km 3 and km 7).

Registration Fees

Public and Graduates:

• 10 km: $37 until July 1, $40 from July 2 to September 1, $45 from September 2 to 4 and on-site.
• 5 km: $32 until July 1, $35 from July 2 to September 1, $40 from September 2 to 4 and on-site.
• 1 km: $15 until July 1, $16 from July 2 to September 1, $20 on-site.

Student Rates:

• 5 km: $32 until September 4, on-site $35.
• 10 km: $37 until September 4, on-site $40.

Awards

Every participant will receive a wooden medal made in Quebec. It is possible to refuse the medal during registration to reduce waste generated by the event.

Parking

Free outdoor parking is available at PEPS on weekends. Three parking lots are offered. Avoid using De la Terrasse Street and Avenue du Séminaire as these roads will be closed for the event.

Schedule

Sunday, September 8:

• 7:00 AM: Site opens
• 8:30 AM: 1 km start
• 9:00 AM: 10 km start
• 10:30 AM: 5 km start
• 11:00 AM: Awards ceremony
