About the Event
The Brighter Futures 5K is a chip-timed event benefiting Kids' Chance of PA, directly supporting scholarships for students in need. The race amenities include:
- Goody bag if pre-registered by October 24
- Door prizes (must be present to win)
- Water stations and restrooms
- Free parking
- Pre-race coffee and post-race refreshments
Awards
In-person awards will be given for:
- 1st Male/Female Overall Winners: $100
- 2nd Male/Female Overall Winners: $50
- 3rd Male/Female Overall Winners: $25
- Recognition for top three finishers in various age groups
Virtual Option
If you can't make it on race day, you can participate virtually! Select the virtual option during registration. Note that virtual participants won't receive swag bags or awards, but can enter a drawing for an Amazon gift certificate by submitting their time by November 11.

- Children (12 and under): $10
- Adults:
- $25 Early Bird (Sep 12 – Oct 24)
- $30 Regular (Oct 25 – Nov 9)
