About the Event
What are YOU grateful for in 2024? Join us in Flat Rock this Thanksgiving morning (Thursday, November 28th) for the Grateful Gallop 5k/1-Mile! Avoid the crowds, skip the parking headache, and enjoy a run right here Downriver! This 5k event is perfect for competitive as well as recreational runners and walkers. Swag awarded to all 5k finishers, as well as 5k age group awards.
Donations for Helping Hands food pantry and the Flat Rock Animal Shelter will also be collected! Bring your canned food items and/or pet food to be entered into a special raffle!
Event Details
Where: Starts & Finishes at the Flat Rock Community Center (1 Maguire, Flat Rock, MI 48134)
When: Thursday, November 28th, 2024
Time: Packet Pickup (7:00-8:15am), 1-Mile Fun Run (8:30am), 5k Run/Walk (9:00am)
Course: 100% paved on local roads and the Downriver Linked Greenways path.
Registration includes officially timed race, t-shirt (*if registered by 10/14), finisher award, post race food/drink.
Super Early Bird (thru September 14th): $30
Early Bird (Sept 15 - Oct 14): $35
Regular Registration (Oct 15- Nov 14): $40
Late Registration* (Nov 15-27): $45
Race Day Registration* (Nov 28th): $50 (5k), Shirts for those registered by Nov 14 (limited sizes may be available on race day).
