Galentine’s day is a day for ladies celebrating ladies! What better way than with a 5K road race? We are BACK with the 5th Annual Galentine’s Day 5K. Come kick it, 5k style! Fellas - you’re also invited!
The Race
USATF certified and chip timed. The course is contained completely within Piedmont Park. Each participant will get a commemorative Galentine’s Day 5K race bib and super soft shirt.
Awards
Awards breakdown: First Place Overall Female, First Place Masters Female, and 3 deep in each age group: Women <10, 11-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+. These speedy ladies will each receive a fantastic award! Men will be scored in the same age groups.
Post Race Party
Stick around after the race for awards and a post-race party! We will have chocolate covered strawberries, pretzels, hot chocolate, and more. Enjoy music, games, and TONS of giveaways from local merchants. The Galentine’s Day 5K is also the only 5K to offer a complementary Galentine’s Day card making station after the race!
Parking
Parking is available in the main parking deck at Piedmont Park, as well as in the gravel lot behind Park Tavern.
