Banbury Chamber Twin Town Spin Relay

About the Event

Get ready to pedal for a purpose! The Banbury Chamber of Commerce is hosting the Twin Town Spin Relay, an exciting cycling challenge to raise vital funds for Katharine House Hospice as part of the Chamber’s entry to the Accumulator Challenge.

Time: 9:00 am – 4:00 pm
Location: Castle Quay Shopping Centre (Opposite Guest Services Desk)

What’s the Challenge?

Inspired by the 435-mile distance between Banbury and its twin town, Ermont, France, this cycling relay will feature two teams competing to cover as many miles as possible within the 7-hour timeframe. One team will represent the journey from Banbury to Ermont, while the other will cycle the route back. The team that cycles the greatest total distance by 4:00 p.m. will be crowned the winner. This is a fun, high-energy event with a mission to make a real difference in our community!

How You Can Get Involved:

1. Join the Team: Take part in this exciting challenge by cycling for at least 20 minutes. The entry fee is £25, and every cyclist will receive a Banbury Chamber T-shirt and branded water bottle as a thank-you.
2. Sponsor the Event: We’re looking for local businesses to sponsor the event and support our goal. Sponsors will receive fantastic promotional opportunities, including branding on T-shirts, videos, and Chamber marketing channels.
