Brazen New Year's Day 2025 1/2 Marathon, 10K, 5K

The sun is rising on Monday morning, January 1st, the first day of 2025. Where should you be? Pounding the trails of Lake Chabot, of course! Join us at Lake Chabot in Castro Valley for the scenic and invigorating 5K, 10K or half marathon.

Better yet, make sure you run at the Brazen New Year's Eve race and then you can start 2025 with the highly coveted New Year Mega Medal!

Registration fees are inclusive of mandatory charges, items, and fees. Prices vary based on registration dates, so be sure to register early for the best rates!

Event Schedule

7:30 AM - Hiker start (for those walking the half marathon, planning to take longer than 3.5-4 hours)

8:30 AM - Half Marathon

8:55 AM - 10K

9:10 AM - 5K
