City of Westlake Community Run

The City of Westlake Community Run is a special event for the whole family being hosted by the Recreation Department and held in conjunction with the Annual Safety & Wellness Day. Come out and enjoy a run or walk through the beautiful City of Westlake and then stay for the Fair! Race begins and ends on the Recreation Center Campus. There will be a timed 5K Run and Speed Walking Division along with an untimed 1-Mile Walk beginning at 8:30am. There will be post-race refreshments, snacks and an awards ceremony. Race shirt will be provided for anyone registering by 9/2/24. Event goodies bags guaranteed for the first 200 registered. This event will also include an Inflatable and DJ. Stay for the Safety & Wellness Fair starting at 10:00am at the Westlake Recreation Center! The fair is hosted by University Hospitals and the City of Westlake. Additional information regarding the fair will be available online soon at www.cityofwestlake.org/recreation.

Awards

All pre-registered 5K participants 10 & under will receive participation medals. Top overall male & female as well as 5K racers finishing in the top three in each age group. Age groups (male & female): 10 & under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70+. Speed Walk - Top 3 men and top 3 women overall.
