Egg Nog Slog 1 Mile All Star Classic

Event Details

Join us on Sunday December 15, 2024 at 12:30 PM at the South Mountain Reservation for the Egg Nog Slog 1 Mile All Star Classic! This race combines the festive fun of drinking egg nog with a running challenge.

What to Expect

The race consists of:
- Chugging 8 oz of egg nog,
- Running or hiking a 1/4 mile loop
Repeat this process 4 times to complete 1 mile and consume 32 oz of egg nog!

Nog Rules

• Participants must declare their division: dairy or non-dairy.
• Bring your own 8 oz cup for the nog.
• You must drink 8 oz of egg nog to start the race.
• You cannot drink and run/hike at the same time.
• All 32 oz of egg nog must be consumed and all distances must be completed.
• No cut-off time, we will wait until you finish!
• Winner of the race takes home a gallon of Egg Nog!

Course Description

The course is 1/4 mile long, starting across a grassy field to the trailhead. You will encounter a couple of right turns and a slight downhill before finishing back at the start point.

Divisions

We offer two divisions:
- Dairy Division
- Non-Dairy Division (includes nog made from any non-dairy ingredients).
