Euchre Bar Massacre Giant Gap Campground

Join us for the Euchre Bar Massacre Giant Gap Campground event, a 25 and 50 mile fatass style run along the wild and Scenic North Fork of the American River. Expect challenging terrain and breathtaking views.

Event Details

This event is free to enter, but participants must wait at the finish for at least one runner to come in. The forest service has confirmed that no permit is needed as long as the event remains small.

Course Information

The course will start and finish at the Shirttail Creek Campground near Foresthill, CA. Participants will navigate through Euchre Bar, Pioneer Mine, Ebeneezer's highway, Green Valley, Mumford Bar, and Italian Bar.

Important Notes

This is a challenging run with significant elevation gain. Last year's finishers took 14 hours for the 25 mile and 25 hours for the 50 mile. Distances are approximate and may refer to nautical miles.
