Fall Fling 400

Welcome to the Fall Fling 400 trail race hosted by the CT Trailmixers! This event offers two races: the 400 Minute Race and the 4 Mile Race. The 400 Minute Race allows participants to complete as many loops as they'd like within 400 minutes, while the 4 Mile Race consists of running two loops of the course.

Start Time and Schedule

Race-day check-in begins at 6:00 am ET, with the races starting at 8:00 am. The 400 minute race ends at 2:40 pm. Make sure to arrive and check-in by 7:45 am for the pre-race briefing.

The Course

The main course is a roughly two-mile loop with rolling hills, single-track wooded trails, dirt/gravel road sections, rocks, and roots. The course will be marked with flags, offering a variety of terrain and scenery.

Registration Fees

Registration fees vary based on membership status and advance pre-registration. Prices range from $30 to $70 for the 400 Minute Race and $30 to $50 for the 4 Mile Race.

Course Support

There will be aid stations with traditional trail ultra food, water, and electrolyte drinks. Participants are encouraged to bring their own cups or mugs for the 'no cup' event. Portalets and real bathrooms will be available.

Chip Timing

The race will be timed using chip timing, and laps completed within the 400 minutes will count. Awards and goodies will be provided to all participants.
