Make a team or go solo as the temperatures start cooling off and the leaves start falling and changing color during our Fall Foliage Adventure Race in and around the stunningly beautiful Mason Neck peninsula in Lorton, Virginia. If you love being outdoors, then this is the event for you.

4-Hour Race

For the first time, our 4-hour fall race will include biking, and this will be the most beginner-friendly biking course with a mix of paved trails and gravel.

14-Hour Race

This year we're taking our more seasoned racers through areas that have never seen an adventure race before, including multiple parks, conservancies, and historical sites with trekking, paddling, biking, and fun challenges.

What is Adventure Racing?

Simply put, Adventure Racing is orienteering via multiple modes of travel. Navigate with a map and compass with the goal of finding as many checkpoints as you can within a time limit. The best teams will work together, balancing speed with strategy.

Spectators are welcome to watch, take pictures, fish, or picnic during the event but are not allowed to assist participants. This is a USARA-sanctioned race.
