About the Event
Finley 5K for SIDS
We look forward to hosting the 13th annual Finley 5K and hope you can join us on August 2nd, 2025. The race continues to grow and inspire, and we can’t thank you enough for supporting us. We will have both an in-person race and a virtual option for wherever you may be located. Help us continue the effort to fund research to one day find the cause of SIDS (Sudden Infant Death Syndrome).
Our History: The Finley 5k was established in 2013 after the passing of Finley William Ellison to SIDS. Proceeds from the race go to the Finley Foundation, a non-profit organization that raises money for research into SIDS, which takes the lives of more than 3000 infants each year. The 5k to date has sent over $300,000 to researchers at Boston Children's Hospital and Seattle who are actively trying to find a cause and cure for SIDS.

- Finley 5k Virtual Race: $40 - Registration ends July 17, 2025 at 11:59pm EDT
