Gizzy Laser Half Marathon (plus 10k & 5k options)

About this Event

This is the third year of our Gizzy Laser Half Marathon event, sponsored by local business Laser Electrical and Plumbing. Join us for one of 3 distances (5k, 10k, or 21k). We start and finish at Matawhero Winery and run the stop bank track along the scenic Waipaoa River! Walkers* and runners welcome! This course is flat and fast so if you're interested in trying for a PB, this is your race!

For 24/25 Gisborne Harrier Club Members:
21K / 10K / 5K = $22.50 / $12.50 / $5
For Non-members:
21K / 10K / 5K = $45 / $25 / $10

Event Details

Where: Start and finish at Matawhero Winery
Start time: 8:00 am for Half Marathon Walkers* | 9:00 am All Others
Pre-Race Packet Pick-up: To avoid a queue on race day, we're offering packet pick-up on Friday, 8 November at Neighborhood Pizzeria from 5-7pm. Swing by during this time to collect your race number(s) and T-shirt(s).

Live music, spot-prizes. Prize-giving at 12pm.

* This is not a competitive walking race. Walkers can walk or jog. For this reason, we are unable to issue placings for walkers.
