About the Event
Event Overview
This event is hosted by EquiCenter Inc. to raise awareness about the tragic reality of daily veteran and active military suicides in the U.S. Each day, 22 such incidents occur, and this event aims to shine a light on this issue.
In-Person Event
Participants can walk or run 2.2 miles on beautiful trails at EquiCenter. Check-in begins at 10 am on Sunday, November 10, 2024. The opening ceremony will be led by the Honeoye Falls American Legion and Marine Corps, followed by the walk/run starting at 11:11 am in remembrance of World War I.
Virtual Challenge
Starting November 10, participants can complete 2.2 miles virtually over the next 22 days (until November 26) to raise awareness. Share your experience on social media to support our Veteran programs.
