Join us for a sunset beach run like no other as we celebrate the 50th anniversary of JAWS with a 5K, free race photos, shark-themed photo ops, and a special outdoor screening of the movie right on the beach. This is a family-friendly event designed to bring runners, movie lovers, and community members together under the stars — CaliFlow style. Whether you come to race, stroll, or just vibe with the music and movie, you’re part of the tribe.

What’s Included:

• Chip-timed 5K with results synced to Athlinks
• Finisher medals for all participants
• Overall and age group awards
• Free race day photos
• Epic shark photo stations along the course
• Snacks + drinks at the finish
• Restrooms nearby
• Water station located mid-course on the pier
• Staff at the turnaround and on-course for support

Movie Under the Stars

After you finish your run, enjoy a free outdoor screening of a shark-themed movie on the beach. Bring your blankets, low-back chairs, and snacks — but leave the booze and tall hats at home. No alcohol or smoking permitted.

Event Schedule

• 5:30 PM – Bib Pickup & Same-Day Registration Opens
• 6:45 PM – The Bite Back 5K Start
• 7:10 PM – The Fin-Tastic 1-Miler & Guppy Gallop Start
• 7:50 PM – Special Outdoor Screening begins

Course must be cleared by 8:00 PM. Beach lot closes at 10:00 PM.
