About the Event
Welcome to Kids' Kaukau Challenge 2024
A kid-focused event for the whole family to enjoy on 10 November 2024. Hosted by Khandallah School but open to all! This is a fun run/walk/skip/dance up to the summit of Mt Kaukau, followed by food and family fun back on the school grounds. It’s all about participation and giving it a go!
- Registration until October 31 costs NZD 25.00 and includes a personalized bib.
- Additional children from the same family get a NZD 5 discount.
- Late registrations from November 1 cost NZD 35.00, and the bib is not personalized.
Event Schedule
9:00 am to 9:45 am: Registration - Race bib and timing chip collection
9:45 am: Compulsory event safety briefing and warm-up
10:00 am: Kids’ Kaukau Challenge begins
12:30 pm: Prize giving on the top court
11 am to 1 pm: Food and family fun in the school grounds
What to Bring
All participants must wear covered shoes. The track can get slippery, so we recommend shoes suitable for walking, and participants must have thermal wear and clothing provisions for rain/wind.
