Mel Williams Memorial Seashore 50K presented by Brooks

Race Details

Course: The 50K starts at 8:00 am. This is a 2 loop trail run at First Landing State Park beginning and ending at the boat ramp.

Fluids and Food: There will be 2 full aid stations at 64th St and Bald Cypress with various foods, water, and Tailwind. This is a cupless race, so runners are encouraged to carry their own water bottles and collapsible cups.

Amenities & Post-Race: Registrants will receive a Brooks shirt, and finishers will receive a medal. A post-race party will take place at Smartmouth Brewery Pilot House from 4:30 - 7:30 PM with food and one beer ticket provided to all runners and volunteers.

Time Limits: The race has an 8-hour finish time cut off.

Awards: Prizes for top finishes in various categories, including overall and age group winners.

Registration

Online registration will be open until December 12th, 2024, or until slots fill. No race day registration is available.

Packet Pickup: Packet pickup will occur on December 14th, 2024, from 1 PM to 5 PM at Running Etc. Virginia Beach, and also on race day from 7:00 - 7:50 AM at the start area.

Refunds

Refunds are available until August 31, 2024, with a $25 administrative fee. No refunds after this date.
