About the Event
New Year Run Challenge
The New Year Run Challenge takes place on January 1st from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Fleet Feet Mechanicsburg. Participants can challenge themselves to see how many miles they can run. The event features a classic 2.2 mile loop for the first 3 hours and a loop around DiFillipo Park for the final 3 hours. Event proceeds go to Communities Rising which helps provide shoes and socks to children in Southern India.

Participants are encouraged to register early as event participation is limited and there will be no race day registration. The first 120 participants will receive a free event shirt. Pickup times for the shirt and race number are December 30 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and December 31 from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m.
