Paint Palestine Pink Walk/Run

Paint Palestine Pink was founded in August 2010 as a non-profit organization that was initially dedicated to providing diagnostics to help in the fight against breast cancer. We have since been able to expand our services to provide grants for diagnostics and treatment in the fight against ALL cancers. Our foundation has been providing funding for diagnostic tests since 2010. All funds stay local and we provide services to the men and women of Anderson and surrounding counties. We contract with local facilities and physicians as much as possible but will look outside of the county to help our residents. We have no CEO's or executives drawing salaries. This organization is completely funded by donations and run by a board of directors and community volunteers. Find us on Facebook: Paint Palestine Pink! The 10.5 Mile has been described as 'the toughest race in East Texas.' The route travels around the loop in Palestine, TX, with the final hill, named 'The Peacemaker' having an elevation of 161m. The 5K travels through the backroads of Palestine. Course START times are as follows: 10.5 Mile - 7:30AM 5K - 8:30AM 1 Mile - 9:30AM Early packet pick-up to be held on October 4th @ Texas Oncology 3415 S Loop 256 Palestine, TX 75801 from 12:00-5:30.
