PTC New Year's Day 2025 5K

Event Details

Start the year with the PTC New Year's Day 2025 5K! This event is open to both runners and walkers, held in the beautiful Newport News Park.

Date: January 1, 2025

Location: 13560 Jefferson Avenue, Newport News, VA 23603

Schedule:

• 9:15 - 10:15 am: BIB pick up at picnic shelters 19 & 20
• 10:30 am: Race Starts
• ~11:15 am: Awards Ceremony

Course Information:

The 5K course is considered fast and nearly flat, perfect for runners and walkers alike. Runners with strollers are welcome, and there will be judges on the course to verify walkers.

Awards:

Awards will be presented to the top three male and female finishers as well as the top three male and female finishers in various age groups, including participants in the Walker category.

Registration:

Online registration will close at noon on December 30, 2024. Race day registration opens at 9:15 am on January 1, 2025. The registration fee on race day is $50.

Please note: The deadline to guarantee a t-shirt is December 5, 2024. After that date, shirts will be limited and not guaranteed.
