The Reindeer Run is back with its annual Christmas-themed chip-timed 5K race and 1-mile run/walk in the heart of historic Downtown Hammond, Louisiana. Enjoy this unique community favorite with the valued assistance of our amazing partners.

Participants in both the 5K and 1-mile fun run are guaranteed a custom finisher medal. These medals are not just tokens; they signify your achievement and our appreciation for your participation. It's an exciting event for seasoned runners and families alike!

Strollers, including jogging strollers, are welcome, ensuring an inclusive community event. If you're bringing a little one in a stroller, they only need to be registered if you'd like them to receive a finisher medal.

Event Schedule

The race starts and finishes at Cate Square Park in Downtown Hammond, concluding with a holiday-themed after-party. The 1-mile fun run begins at 8 a.m., followed by the 5K at approximately 8:30 a.m. There are numerous FREE parking options available nearby.
