Event Details
Welcome back to Norris-Penrose Events Center / Bear Creek Park! Since 1979, the Rescue Run has been a staple in the community, moving locations and adapting over the years. After a virtual event in 2021, we returned to our roots at Norris-Penrose in 2022.
Course Information
- 5K: Distance of 5K, Registration Fee: $25.00 - $35.00
- 10K: Distance of 10K, Registration Fee: $25.00 - $35.00
Location
Start/Finish: Norris-Penrose Events Center, 1045 Lower Gold Camp Rd, Colorado Springs, CO 80905
Start Time
The 5K and 10K will start together at 10:00 AM. Participants must cross the starting line by 10:10 AM.
Registration
No race day registration is allowed. Online registration ends December 31 at 6:00 PM Mountain Time.
Trail Conditions
Expect icy conditions on trails, especially on wooden bridges.
Parking
There are two large parking lots. Please allow time to enter and park. The southern lot closes at 9:20 AM for kids' races.
