Rock'in Santa Half Marathon & Sunshine Santa 5K - ESM Events

Get ready to rock and roll this holiday season with the Rock'in Santa Half Marathon & Sunshine Santa 5K, hosted by ESM Events. Taking place on December 16th, 2023, at Victor Ashe Park in Knoxville, TN, this event offers a half marathon, a 5K run, and a half marathon relay. All events benefit the Sunshine Ambassadors, an organization that enriches the lives of people with disabilities through dance.

Participants of the half marathon, relay, and 5K will receive custom long sleeve performance hoodies and shirts. Finishers of the half marathon and 5K will also receive custom finishers medals. The event will be electronically chip timed, with live results sent to participants via text or email.

The 5K route will start at the Pavilion and continue onto the Greenway to the back of the school, looping right back to the Start/Finish line. The half marathon and relay routes will be three loops on the Greenway, with Christmas music at aid stations passed nine times over the route (weather permitting). Walkers are welcome, but police traffic control will end at 1 PM.

Packet pickup will be available on Friday, December 15th, from 4 PM to 6 PM at Victor Ashe Park race site and on Saturday, December 16th, from 7 AM to 8:45 AM. Age group awards will be given for first, second, and third place in various categories.

Endurance Sports Management and Bald Eagle Events have a NO REFUND policy, but insurance is available during registration. Race entries are non-transferable between individuals. In the event of a natural or community disaster, the organizers will prioritize safety and may alter courses or race segments.
