About the Event
Start the New Year with Richmond Road Runners Club's First Day 5K.
The race will be held in person at ACAC- Midlothian on Wednesday, January 1st, 2025, at 11:00 am. The Kids Run will take place at 11:45 am. A virtual option will also take place from Monday, December 30th, through Thursday, January 2nd.
RRRC First Day 5K is an RRRC Grand Prix (GP) event for 2025.
Awards and Giveaways
Giveaways: RRRC Running Belts (one size fits most) for first 400 registered participants. Awards (in-person race only): There will be awards for top finishers: first place male and female overall; and top masters male and female; and top grand masters male and female. There will be ribbons for the top three finishers in each age group. All awards will be based on chip time.
Course Details
The 5K course is fast and flat through the Roxshire neighborhood. One cup-less water stop will support runners at about mile 2 and mile 2.5 on the course.
