Event Overview
Are you looking to get your feet wet with Adventure Racing, or you're a veteran yearning for AR activities local to Southern California? Join the next SCAT in San Diego, based out of gorgeous Mission Bay. The start line location will be in Mission Bay.
Course Options:
- 3 Hour AR Training - Ideal for families and beginners.
- 10 Hour AR Training - A more challenging adventure suitable for veterans.
Event Timeline
Friday, December 13, 2024:
6:00 PM - 8:00 PM: Potluck and gear swap at Campland at the Bay.
6:30 PM - 7:00 PM: Adventure racing navigation clinic.
Saturday, December 14, 2024:
7:00 AM: 10-hour course starts.
9:00 AM: 3-hour course starts.
12:00 PM: 3-hour course ends.
5:00 PM: 10-hour course ends.

Gear Requirements
Participants must bring their own boat (BYOB) and can rent kayaks nearby. Ensure to carry enough food and water during the race, especially for the 10-hour course. A compass is recommended to navigate the course.
