Event Details
Welcome to the 2nd Annual Scranton Turkey Trot! This exciting 5k run and 1 Mile Fun Walk serves to bring the community together to exercise, have fun, and give thanks on one of the best days of the year. Whether you’re a seasoned runner or looking to participate in your first 5k, we welcome you to join us.
The race begins at 9:00 AM and features a scenic course that is mostly flat, with a few rolling hills and no street crossings. Enjoy snacks and refreshments post-race, including Dunkin Donuts coffee and apple cider!
All proceeds will support the continued revitalization of Nay Aug Park in honor of the James "Red" McAndrew Foundation.
Race Day Information
- Packet Pickup: Wednesday, November 27, from 12 PM to 5 PM at Scranton Running Company, 3 West Olive St., Scranton, PA 18508
- Day of Registration: 7:30 AM to 8:45 AM at Nay Aug Park
Awards
Trophies will be awarded to the top male and female runners, as well as the top male and female in various age groups (0-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60+).
